Demo Day – May 22, 2025 | Hosted by Thales, Systematic, and Innov’ATM
As part of the UELCOME DSD Project, supported by SESAR Joint Undertaking, we’re proud to have showcased the end-to-end digitisation of drone airspace management during a successful ‘Demo Day’—with live demonstrations held in the complex, real-world environment of the CEDIF flight zone.
🔹 The event highlighted how digital solutions can unlock routine, safe commercial drone operations, from mission planning to live surveillance and automated flight authorizations.
🚁 Key achievements presented:
1️⃣ 2023: Opening of a 40 km drone corridor and inaugural BVLOS flight by @PAROT at the ParisAirShow2023
2️⃣ 2024: ExtensiveUTM system test campaigns
3️⃣ 2025 Demo Day: Real-time UTM demonstration in semi-urban airspace, proving high operational readiness
4️⃣ USSP certification awarded to @InnovATM, now offering certified U-space services
5️⃣ Daily use of digital flight authorization services by operators with approvals from @HubDronesSystematic

🔗 With its strong leadership role in the French cluster, Thales contributes far beyond technology—engaging with authorities, shaping regulatory frameworks, and fostering collaboration across the drone ecosystem.
🏙️ Demonstrations were held within the Centre of Excellence Drone Ile-de-France (CEDIF), a unique test center in Europe, co-developed by Thales, EUROCONTROL, and Systematic, offering semi-urban airspace for real-world testing.
