As part of IAM SPAIN by Expodronica, the U-ELCOME DSD Project was presented an initiative funded by CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency with the support of SESAR Joint Undertaking and EUROCONTROL.
During the event, we witnessed a technological milestone in Europe: for the first time, four differentUSSPs operated simultaneously within the same simulated U-space volume, one already certified and two others in the process of certification.
This demonstration also marked a key step in U-space harmonization: an Italian USSP successfully interacted with Spanish USSPs via indirect communication, proving seamless cross-border integration.
A decisive step forward towards an operational, safe, and automated U-space.
