U-ELCOME project was an active participant and supporter at Airspace Integration Week Madrid with a Booth number 780 at IFEMA MADRID and Cuatro Vientos Airport last 25, 26, 27 & 28 September.

U-ELCOME coordinator, Ludovic Legros explained at the Airspace Integration Week Madrid the goals of #UELCOME, a “project from research to real implementation”, As the coordinator of the DSD projects has said “U-ELCOME bridges the gap between innovation and real life”.
Legros finished his speech believing that ”we can make commercial drone operations possible on a daily basis BVLOS/VLOS by 2026”
Patricia Hervías participated at the Airspace Integration Week Madrid panel about Women in the Airspace Sector along with Gema Martín del Burgo, Raquel Moldes Teijeiro, Marta García Gutiérrez, Claudia Romeo Gurrea Nozaleda, Carlota Bettremieux Rodríguez and Carmen M Aguilera.

Great success of the U-Elcome Project Management Team at the Airspace Integration Week Madrid. All of our partners knew the progress of the DSD Project at Cuatro Vientos Airport at Air Show Expodronica. The gap between innovation and real life is closer. Spanish, French and the Italian clusters showed us all the real progress in ensuring routine commercial drone operations in Europe by 2026.
Patricia Hervías Vallejo, from U-ELCOME, explained at Airspace Integration Week Madrid why this DSD project coordinated by EUROCONTROL and supported by SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking & CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency is so ambitious. “This project is aimed at accelerating the incorporation of the U1 & U2 U-space services in the market”, explained Patricia Hervías at Cuatro Vientos.
